Ninety Degree Pushups

This six year-old kid easily shells out 20 of these bad asses. The world record is 13!  You can watch the World Record video here. The kid in the video below even has a better balance control, along with the perfect form.

To keep things in perspective, it’s worth mentioning that kids have a better strength/weight ratio than adults do. Still, I don’t know anyone who was that strong at the age of 6! The future looks bright for the little fellow.

Too young for so much muscle, he will never grow taller…

Really? You don’t think he’ll even gain an inch in height? I thought that whole myth about strength training stunting growth was put to grave years ago.

I think that he could gain some inches but he will never arrive to 5 feet…
I welcome the flexibility conditioning of muscles and joints in early age, but i condamn the building of so much muscles, they interfere with the bones growth.

That’s a cruel thing to do to your son because he doesn’t have any choice.

My top 5 favorite exercises. If you are looking for something to replace bench/incline bench these are a good way to go! And they can always be weighted!

Kris is delusional — the fact that this kid is strong now has absolutely nothing to do with when his epiphyseal plates will close – unless he is taking exogenous testosterone, he will likely be as tall as his mother – father.
