Lots going on today. So I wanted to keep you on top of everything in this email.
First off there’s a new article just uploaded to the site. This one covers working on a straight style of handstand. How to get into the right position and practice it using the wall. Go check it out.
As of writing there are 3 days and 14 minutes left before the price of The True Art and Science of Hand Balancing goes up. Many people have already stepped up and ordered themselves a copy at the old price. Won’t you join them?
And an update about what’s coming down the road.
Unfortunately, I had problems with my video editing software. For some unknown reason its throwing the audio out of sync with the video. Looks plain terrible. Since I cannot solve the problem I went ahead and purchased a new program. Once that arrives I’ll have several new videos I want to share with you.
And there are some big projects in the works too. As always stay tuned.
Good Luck and Good Hand Balancing,
Logan Christopher
You may have heard me mention it before. I’m talking about visualization and how it can help you do better in hand balancing and acrobatics.
There’s a new article on the site telling my story of how I reached my first ever 30 second handstand.
How Visualizing Can Help Your Handstands
Make no mistake about it, this is powerful stuff and can be the difference between success and failure. You even got scientific proof backing it up.
Go check it out – Handstand Visualization

I hope you’ve been enjoying the Olympics. Although I’ve been traveling around, now that I’m settled back in I’ll be watching a lot more.
And it just so happens that today is when the finals for gymnastics start. Which as I said before contain some of my favorite events. There are others but I think Gymnastics tops them all.
If you live in the US and want to know what’s going on I recommend you check out www.nbcolympics.com for tons of coverage, details and everything else you need.
On top of that I got the new article and video up on the site.
This one covers a few tips on walking on the hands. Including one of the best methods to develop real control while doing it. Walking on the hands that will make your stationary handstand better.
You don’t need to be an Olympic level athlete to do this! Learn how to Walk on Your Hands here.
The video is just a piece of the DVD coming with this month’s Acrobat Accelerator. There is still time to get your hands on it. But there are only 17 left. Once its gone its gone.
And remember from last time it includes my biggest tip on learning to balance on your hands.
If you are just starting out I recommend you go with the Secrets of the Handstand Quickstart Guide. You’ll get everything you need to do a handstand plus this month’s tips and tricks.
Good Luck and Good Hand Balancing,
Logan Christophe
Got a new article up on the site, complete with a video. This one is on how to do the backflip.
I don’t claim to have the best backflip in the world. I know it needs some work for improvement. But I can do them standing on flat ground outside.
And I know more people want to pull of this acrobatic skill than are currently able.
Just reading the article won’t give you the ability to do it, but if you want to work up to it or currently are you’ll find something useful.
On Thursday I’ll be sharing an important update to the Tumbling Course with you.
Good Luck and Good Tumbling,
Logan Christopher
P.S. Don’t forget today is the last day to get a bonus Acrobat Accelerator issue along with the Secrets of the Handstand Quickstart Guide.
A few things to cover today. First a questions from Brian.
“my handstand stays in air for less than 3 seconds. at times i do better and most times i do worse. i tried the wall to gain back strength but i never seem to get better. Its been 3 months that way. im not quiting so any suggestions will be appreciated.”
There’s a new article up on the site complete with a video that covers the most basic techniques on how to do a handstand.
Hopefully something on that page will help you. But without seeing your handstand or having a more descriptive question I can’t do much more.
If you want and have the means you can post a video on youtube or somewhere else on the internet. If you provide me a link I’ll take a look and give you feedback. Just send me a link to the video and any specific questions you have.
Lastly, you’ve got less that one day to get any of the new Prof. Orlick ebooks or the Hand Balancing Mastery Course for the current price. Tomorrow morning the price will go up. Get them now.
Good Luck and Good Hand Balancing,
Logan Christopher
Just a couple weeks ago I was contacted by a man who knew and trained with Bob Jones among many other hand balancers. His name is Stu Goldberg and he has a few stories to share.
I thought you might be interested. Plus there are many pictures too.
If you want to learn how Bob used a sewing thread to help balance, or who won the longest handstand contest there’s a new article up. Remembering the Old Hand Balancing Days
Rest assured in the coming weeks I’ll be sharing even more with you.
Good Luck and Good Hand Balancing,
Logan Christopher
P.S. Only a few days left to get the Tumbling Course at its launch price.
It looks like the new Ask A Question section on the site is popular. You can let me know any problems you are having and I will answer them.
Here’s one question from Andres (and he‘s not the only one asking this).
Hi yes, I will get right to the point so you don’t have to waste time. When doing a handstand, is balancing with hands (duh), I’m still kind of new to it, and I’m having a bit of trouble of the balancing in the core part, meaning the hands. I know it is not a strength issue. Can you give more tips, or go more in depth in what the hands should do or what the wrists do to help the hands and so on.
Thank You.
A.
This seems to be the hardest part for anyone to learn. While it doesn’t take much strength to hold a normal handstand the balancing part sure can be difficult.
Though you balance with your hands that is only part of the equation.
I’ve written a new article that just might clear up a few things to help you along.
Handstands and Scientific Balancing
Good Luck and Good Hand Balancing,
Logan Christopher
